Health and Character Checks removed

Effective 01 December 2020, Immigration New Zealand have removed the above requirements for both Recognised Seasonal Employers (“RSE”) and Supplementary Seasonal Employment (“SSE”) applicants. This covers the 20/21 season up to 30 June 2021 but a request for the documents can be made on a case-by-case basis.

RSE’s to provide full-time Employment

Employers are now required to provide full-time employment to RSE applicants for the duration of their visas i.e. six months and/or work with other RSE’s if there is insufficient work with the current employer.
